Nurture Your Nutrition

Would you eat more fruit and veggies if you didn’t have to drive to the store to buy them?

Step up and grow your own.

“I don’t have space for a garden.” Me: “ Buy a pot!”

“I don’t know how to grow things.” Me: “Put the plant the pot and add some water.”

“I don’t have time to garden.”  Me: “2 minutes a day to ADD SOME WATER!”

Create a relationship with your food. Planting and nurturing a plant that can, in turn, nurture you, is a unique experience.

You spend 2 minutes a day taking care of a small tomato plant for weeks. You watch it quadruple in size. You see tiny blossoms on it and watch those blossoms turn into small tomatoes. Of course, this is the time you google “when is a tomato ready to pick”, even though you have seen red tomatoes in the store your entire life. You excitedly watch your tomatoes turn red and when they do you begin to plot how you will eat them, in a salad…..sliced on a sandwich…..cooked into a pasta sauce.

You can become a mini farmer with just one plant and make good nutrition a 2 minute a day hobby and ends in a snack!
